Worm/Flea Treatments Postal Service during Covid-19 Lockdown – updateD 16/07/21

UPDATE – FROM MONDAY 19TH JULY 2021

We will be maintaining our postal service for parasite treatments for those clients who prefer this, however from Monday 19th July, you will be able to order your parasite treatments via Facebook, email or telephone and then be provided with a time slot to collect them from the surgery if you prefer. Please let us know when you place your order. Please see below for more details of the postal service:

We have listened to your concerns, so today our nursing team have been busy measuring up our parasite treatments and working out what can be posted through your letterbox and without our team needing to stand in post office queues!

From Wednesday 8th April, we will be rolling out a postal service for worm and flea treatments for pets, which will be available during the Covid-19 isolation period.

The cost of this service will be £1.50 to £2, depending on the weight of the package. (Please bear in mind that if you order several items, these may have to be split into more than one delivery and therefore more than one fee, we can advise you of this before postage).

If you would like to place an order for wormers or flea treatments, please send us an email or a private message on Facebook. We kindly ask that you only phone us if these options are not available to you, in order to keep our phone lines clear for emergencies.

Our deliveries will be well wrapped, but please remember to keep them away from inquisitive pets!

Remember, if you are a member of our Pet Health Plan, you have not opted out of delivery and your pet is an adult, you will automatically receive your flea and worming treatments via the Vets Deliver service.

Please note: this service is available for pets that we have seen within the last year and is subject to medication checks by our vets, in the same way that medication is checked when ordered under normal circumstances.
