Heather Trindall BVSc MRCVSVeterinary Director
Heather worked as a nurse with us, before going to the University of Liverpool and graduating as a vet in 2006, returning to work with us again before becoming a director in 2015. She has a special interest in small animal medicine and is working towards a post graduate certificate in this area. Heather also enjoys working with rabbits and other small mammals. Outside of work, Heather enjoys reading, travelling and spending time with her cats.
Lynne Clare BVMS MRCVSVeterinary Director
Lynne qualified from the University of Glasgow in 2005 and has worked with us ever since, becoming a director in 2015. She has a particular interest in surgery, particularly soft tissue surgery. Outside of work, Lynne enjoys competing her horse, Carrick, and spending time with her family.
Ioanna Dermitzaki MRCVSVeterinary Surgeon
Ioanna joined us in 2021, having previously worked in Greece. She mostly works at our Hornsea surgery and is very much enjoying meeting all our clients and patients.
Sophie Walton BVSc MRCVSVeterinary Surgeon
Sophie joined us in 2021, having previously work with both small animals and horses. She mostly works at our Hornsea practice, but also enjoys working at the Beverley surgery. Outside of work she enjoys walking and spending time with her husband and dog.
Maria Cabrera Garrote MRCVSVeterinary Surgeon
Maria joined us in September 2020 having previously qualified and worked in Spain. She thoroughly enjoys meeting all our patients of various species and has a particular love of surgery. Outside of work, Maria spends time with her new kitten.
Heike Kopac-Pickering MRCVSVeterinary Surgeon
Heike has worked with us on and off since 1991. She currently works part time. She has a special interest in acupuncture having gained her Certificate in Safety and Competence in Acupuncture. She is also interested in small animal surgery.
Katie Marshall RVNRegistered Veterinary Nurse
Katie first joined us as a Student Veterinary Nurse on a year placement. She left to complete her nursing degree and then returned to the team as a fully qualified Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN). She is now Nurse Team Leader at our Hornsea surgery. Katie enjoys all aspects of nursing, but particularly enjoys working with clients and animals in consultations and caring for patients admitted to the clinics.
Melissa Baker RVNRegistered Veterinary Nurse
Melissa joined us in 2020 and enjoys working with all species of pet animals. She works mostly at our Beverley surgery and particularly enjoys working in the operating theatre as well as speaking with owners. Melissa enjoys working with our rabbit patients and taking care of her own outside of work.
Hannah Walker RVNRegistered Veterinary Nurse
Hannah joined us in March 2018 and enjoys looking after all species but has a special interest in exotics and wildlife. Outside of work, Hannah enjoys looking after her dog Bennett, cats and ferrets. Hannah enjoys running some of our nurse clinics including weight clinics, and our puppy parties. She is also a Clinical Coach/Supervisor, running the nurse training at the surgery.
Gemma George RVNRegistered Veterinary Nurse
Gemma joined us in October 2015 and worked as a nursing auxiliary initially, before completing her RVN training and gaining her registration with the RCVS in 2019. She looks after a wide variety of animals herself and enjoys helping to treat all species at the surgery. Gemma is Nurse Team Leader at the Beverley branch.
Olivia ClubleyStudent Veterinary Nurse
Olivia was welcomed to our team in April 2019 as a nursing auxiliary. At the start of 2021, she began her studies as a student veterinary nurse. Olivia enjoys working with all species, but particularly enjoys working with large dog breeds.
Lauren YeatsStudent Veterinary Nurse
Lauren joined the team in March 2018. She currently holds a diploma in Animal Management and graduated in July 2017 with a BSc(Hons) in Bioveterinary Science. Lauren is furthering her education by currently studying to become an RVN. Lauren is enjoying working with all the small animal patients. In her spare time Lauren enjoys spending time with her husband and their Jack Russell, Willow .
Talia BlansStudent Veterinary Nurse
Talia joined the team in 2017 and thoroughly enjoys all aspects of working with animals. She is currently training to be a Registered Veterinary Nurse. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with family and friends and her cats.
Megan TeskeNursing auxiliary
Megan has always been around animals, both at home and in her studies. She joined our growing team in 2021 and is enjoying spending time with our patients as well as their owners. She mainly works at the Hornsea surgery, but can be found at Beverley looking after our clients at reception.
Kezia GrubbNursing auxiliary
Kez has always enjoyed working with animals, from dogs to horses. She joined our expanding team in May 2021, working mostly at the Beverley clinic. She can often be found making patients feel more comfortable in the kennels or giving them plenty of fuss during consultations.
Emily MaymanNursing auxiliary
Em joined the team early in 2021 and has spent most of her time at the Beverley surgery. She enjoys working with our canine patients and taking care of wildlife. Outside of work, she has a particular interest in sea mammals and volunteers working with these amazing animals.
Michelle MilleaNursing Auxiliary - Infection Control
Michelle began working with us in 2010 and can be found at both Beverley and Hornsea surgeries. Michelle enjoys socialising and spending time with her family.
Sophie joined us in 2021 as an experienced veterinary receptionist. She can mostly be found at our Hornsea surgery, enjoying meeting our clients and patients at the reception desk. Outside of work, Sophie enjoys spending time with her family, including her cat.
Sarah has always worked with animals, spending a lot of time with horses in her previous roles. She joined us in May 2021, working mainly at the Hornsea surgery. She is enjoying meeting our clients and patients.
Sarah joined us in 2017, working across both branches. She loves meeting all our patients and outside of work spends time with her family including her dog.
Many clients will remember Lynne as a nurse. However, following knee surgery, she has joined our reception staff. In her spare time, Lynne works on her family farm and walks her dogs.
