Emergency Services

After 18:30pm any emergencies will be forwarded to on of our out of hours providers, Vets Now or Wicstun Animal Hospital. Vets Now take over Kingston Vets hospital, and they are based on Anlaby Road, Hull, and Wicstun is based in Market Weighton.

Out of hours providers offer the pet equivalent of an accident and emergency service, dedicated to providing pets with access to a vet out of our opening times, with veterinary teams specially trained in emergency and critical care.  If your pet has an emergency during our normal opening hours, please call the practice and we will advise you what to do next. If you have an emergency when we are closed — overnight, at weekends or on bank holidays — when you call us please follow the directions on the recorded message and your call will be forwarded to your preferred team. 

Examples of emergencies commonly treated include difficult births and caesareans, wounds and injuries, emergency surgeries and medical treatment for sick animals.
