Heather Trindall BVSc MRCVS

Veterinary Director

Heather worked as a nurse with us, before going to the University of Liverpool and graduating as a vet in 2006, returning to work with us again before becoming a director in 2015. She has a special interest in small animal medicine. Heather also enjoys working with rabbits and other small mammals. Outside of work, Heather enjoys reading, travelling and spending time with her cats.

Lynne Clare BVMS MRCVS

Veterinary Director

Lynne qualified from the University of Glasgow in 2005 and has worked with us ever since, becoming a director in 2015. She has a particular interest in surgery, particularly soft tissue surgery. Outside of work, Lynne enjoys competing her horse, Carrick, and spending time with her family.

Marcela Fox MRCVS

Veterinary Surgeon

After graduating in the Czech Republic in 2006 Marcela moved to the UK where she has worked in both mixed and small animal practices across Scotland and England. She joined our team in 2023 and is particularly interested in soft tissue surgery, ultrasonography and oncology. Outside of work she enjoys outdoor activities with her son, and dancing.

Anna Franklin MRCVS

Anna qualified from Surrey University in 2024. She joined us shortly after and particularly enjoys treating birds and learning new things. In her spare time she practices trick-training with her spaniel cross retriever Obi, and enjoys crafting at home.

Heike has worked with us on and off since 1991. She currently works part time. She has a special interest in acupuncture having gained her Certificate in Safety and Competence in Acupuncture. She is also interested in small animal surgery.

Meg joined the practice in May 2021 as a student and has since qualified as an RVN in January 2025. In practice, Meg has a particular interest in nutrition and caring for our inpatients. In her free time, Meg enjoys crafting, reading and spending time with her Cavapoos, Olive and Luna.

Melissa Baker-Simmonds RVN

Registered Veterinary Nurse

Melissa joined us in 2020 and enjoys working with all species of pet animals. She works mostly at our Hornsea surgery and particularly enjoys caring for inpatients and updating owners, along with analysing samples in our in house laboratory. Melissa has a special interest in our rabbit patients and taking care of her own outside of work.

Tyler Bentley RVN

Tyler joined the team in 2024 after completing his 3 years of training at Askham Bryan University. Tyler enjoys all aspects of nursing and has a keen interest in schedule 3 veterinary nurse surgery. Tyler loves shifts as the anaesthesia nurse as he loves to ensure your beloved pets have a safe and successful procedure. Outside of work he loves taking walks and hikes with his cat Meatball.

Katie Marshall RVN

Katie joined Peel Veterinary for her Student Nursing placements in 2018 and then joined us as a RVN in 2021. She is our Hornsea Nursing Team Leader and enjoys supporting the smooth running of the practice, surgery and carrying out minor procedures. In her spare time, she enjoys exploring the countryside with her dogs and spending time with her rescue kittens.

Talia Blans RVN

Registered Veterinary Nurse

Talia joined the team in 2017 qualified as a Registered Veterinary Nurse in 2022. She has an interest in all aspects of nursing, but especially surgical nursing carrying out Schedule 3 procedures, and socialisation clinics. She spends her spare time with her 3 cats, son William and partner Steven.

Gemma George RVN

Registered Veterinary Nurse

Gemma joined us in October 2015 and worked as a nursing auxiliary initially, before completing her RVN training and gaining her registration with the RCVS in 2019. She looks after a wide variety of animals herself and enjoys helping to treat all species at the surgery. Gemma is Nurse Team Leader at the Beverley branch.

Beth joined the team in February 2022 and started her Nursing training in April 2023. She particularly enjoys working with our feline patients and is working hard towards her qualification. Outside of work she enjoys taking care of her two cats, Goose and Fern, and family dog Asbo.

Becky joined the team just over 3 years ago having worked at other vets previously. She enjoys getting hands on with the animals, and is keen to learn more about animal behaviour. She has a busy life outside of work helping on the family farm and spending time outdoors with the dogs.

Michelle began working with us in 2010 and can be found at both Beverley and Hornsea surgeries helping with infection control. She has a degree in Animal Health and Welfare, and outside of work enjoys socialising and spending time with her family.

Receptionist/Nursing Auxillary Hybrid

Becky joined us in 2023 as a receptionist and has since moved into a hybrid role taking on nursing auxillary shifts. She enjoys lab work and caring for our inpatients, and outside of work enjoys time spent outdoors with her pets and baking, often whipping up sweet treats for the team.

Tracey joined our reception team in August 2025 after working within the veterinary profession for over 40 years. She is loving the contact with our clients and their wonderful pets! Tracey has enjoyed teaching martial arts for a number of years and is still a student herself in a different style. She loves beach-combing, gardening, and country walks in her free time – and has a house and garden full of her finds!

Many clients will remember Lynne as a nurse. However, following knee surgery, she has joined our reception staff. In her spare time, Lynne works on her family farm and walks her dogs.
