February 2022 Newsletter – Covid Updates and Beverley for Ukraine.

As of Monday 28th February, we have changed our procedures for clients visiting the surgeries.

Our waiting rooms are now open as they were pre-Covid, however the one-way system at our Hornsea practice will remain in place. The waiting room may be busy at times, so if you prefer to wait outside, please ensure to pop in and let us know you have arrived or give us a call.

We are welcoming clients back into the consulting rooms. There may still be occasions when you are asked to wait outside, as some animals are more settled without their owners present. This can help during some procedures, such as nail clipping and blood sampling, as some of our clients will already know from pre-Covid times! If you prefer not to enter the consulting room, please let us know.

Masks are no longer mandatory in the majority of cases. Some of our team are immunocompromised or are in a vulnerable health group, so you may be asked to wear a mask if you wish to enter the consulting rooms with them. If you prefer to wear a mask at all times, then you are most welcome to do so.

We are pleased to be able to reduce our Covid-19 measures following the government announcement and we look forward to hopefully returning to a routine we all miss. Thank you for your support and patience throughout.
With the current situation in Ukraine, we wanted to do something to help. In addition to making our own donation, we have volunteered to be a drop off point (both our Beverley and Hornsea surgeries) for donations to the Beverley for Ukraine group. Much needed supplies will be taken to Poland for the thousands of refugees who have fled from Ukraine.  Please visit our Facebook page for further details on donating.  Best wishes,  The team at Peel Veterinary Clinic
