Updates to Services – Ending our Large Animal Services – 1st September 2020

IMPORTANT UPDATES ABOUT OUR SERVICES

From Tuesday 1st September, there will be several changes at the surgeries. Please carry on reading to find out more.

We will no longer be working with farm animals or horses and will instead be concentrating on our pet animal services. This has been a sad and difficult decision, which we have not made lightly. (All our currently active farm and equine clients should have received a letter advising of this change already). We want to thank all our farm and equine clients for their custom, we have really enjoyed working with you.

Our appointment times will be changing slightly to accommodate this. There will be minimal change at the Hornsea surgery, however at the Beverley surgery, afternoon clinic (2-3pm) will no longer take place. Instead, consultations in the afternoon will start from 3.30pm. Overall, more consultations will be available than previously.

At the moment, we are unable to run nurse consultations due to the increased staffing requirements of Covid. However, once these are up and running again, they will be expanded to include evening appointments.

Over the coming months, the services we can provide will be increasing, we will keep you up to date here as and when these changes occur.
